Wang and Dickerson is excited to offer a very limited amount of this award-winning Oriental Beauty Oolong to our tea enthusiasts. The specific batch of tea that is produced for tea tasting competitions typically gets special treatment and attention from the growers. Tea from an award-winning batch can be expensive and exceptionally hard to find. Ours is from a batch of Oriental Beauty Oolong that won the 'Award of Excellence' in a tea tasting competition in Taiwan with over 1200 entries.
The 150-gram award-winning tea proudly bears an official Excellence Award Winning label, authorized by the government, sealed right after the tea competition, and presented in its original tea canister. This treasure was handpicked during our visit to our esteemed grower in Taiwan!
This tea is 70% oxidized with a medium body, a silky smooth flavor and an elegant floral fragrance. The leaves exhibit a beautiful mixture of robust browns, rich reds and silvery white tips. The taste experience is a sophisticated balance of honey-like sweetness and hints of ripe apricot.
